1707543 - Error in Migration of Projects due to Missing Project Type in Business Configuration

The data migration of projects ends up in error due to missing project type in the Project Types activity under Fine-Tune phase in Business Configuration.

1. Go to Business Configuration work wenter.
2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the project First Implementation.
4. Select Open Activity List.
5. Select Integrate and Extend Phase.
6. Select Migration of Projects activity.
7. Select Migrate projects using the migration tool.
8. In the new window that opens, select Upload and upload the completed project migration template ABC.
9. Select the row corresponding to File Name ABC and select Execute Migration.

The migration process stops at validate file phase with errors Errors detected during import simulation , Error detected in source record with key value 'XYZ' displayed in the log section.

This error is due to missing project type in Project Types activity in Fine-Tune phase of the project.

Maintain the missing project type in the activity Project Types by following the below mentioned steps. 

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
3. Select First Implementation project.
4. Select Open Activity List.
5. Select Fine-Tune phase.
6. Select Project Types activity.
7. Select Add Row and enter the details for missing project type in the new row.
8. Save your entries.

Now you have maintained the missing project type in the system and you can proceed with the migration of projects.
