1710447 - Exception ‘Attribute value is not of type double’

Symptom

After upgrade to 7.3, a runtime exception error is received during portal navigation. After analysing the default trace file, the causing exception is found to be similar to the following:

Application name : com.sap.portal.navigation.portallauncher

Component : com.sap.portal.navigation.portallauncher.default

Component class : com.sapportals.portal.navigation.PortalLauncher

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: PlAttribute: attribute value is not of type double 

Caused by: java.lang.ClassCastException: class java.lang.String:null incompatible with class java.lang.Double:null
