1710553 - MRRL: External/Internal breakpoint not triggered in BADI MRM_ERS_HDAT_MODIFY - SAP ERP & SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

The BAdI MRM_ERS_HDAT_MODIFY has been activated in order to make changes to the header data of the invoice (e.g. posting date) in transaction MRRL.
However, when debugging is attempted, neither the external nor the internal breakpoint is triggered. Even when the breakpoint has been hard coded directly in the BAdI, the program execution is still not halted at that point.
