1710812 - BI4.0 Patch 2.14 regression: 'Unable to get the first page of the current report. Please check the validity of your report or contact your administrator. (ERR WIJ 20003)' when opening any WebI report using any client type (rich client or Launchpad)

Symptom

  • After updating to Patch 2.14, when attempting to open WebI reports using any client (via desktop or Launchpad), an error is generated: 'Unable to get the first page of the current report. Please check the validity of your report or contact your administrator. (ERR WIJ 20003)'
  • Followed by a second error: 'The report cannot be generated'.
  • Seems to occur only for those reports containing more than one query.
