1711565 - Phases OBJECTS_LOCKED_? or CHECK_LOCKED_OBJ - Object locked error in SPAM/SAINT

Symptom

  • During a Support Package update, Support Package Manager (SPAM) stops in the phase OBJECTS_LOCKED_? with the following error:
     Phase OBJECTS_LOCKED_?: Explanation of Errors
              The following objects are currently locked in requests. You can only import the queue when the objects are no longer locked.
              Eg:    Request                 Names of Locked             Transport Objects
                     <SID>K912106       R3TR SICF WEBGUI        BO11PUMK7J2UU0LPKQWG0KGS7

  • During an add-on uninstallation, SAP Add-On Installation Tool (SAINT) stops in the phase CHECK_LOCKED_OBJ with the following error:
    Objects are locked in open change requests
    <Object>
    The OCS import process is aborted in phase CHECK_LOCKED_OBJ.
    Abort the import due to an error situation (<Date>, <Time>)
