1713639 - Error:"Excel Found unreadable content in 'File name .xlsx'..." when exporting WebI reports with brackets in hyperlinks in Business Intelligence 4.0

Symptom

  • Some of the Web Intelligence (WebI) reports when scheduled to Excel format (.xlsx) runs successful by generating excel instances; however when opened throws an excel error message:

"Excel Found unreadable content in 'File name .xlsx"

  • This error occurs only with .xlsx format; report works fine when using .xls format.
