Symptom

  • Getting an error when backing up the Monitoring Database from CMC > Applications > Monitoring Application
  • Error: "An error occurred while running the database backup task (MON00054)"
  • From the log for the Adaptive Processing Server that hosts the Monitoring service observe this error: "ERROR XSRS4: Error renaming file (during backup) from [PATH_TO_DERBY_DB] to [PATH_TO_DERBY_DB].OLD"
