Symptom

  • The failures started after an upgrade from BusinessObjects XI Release 2 (XIR2) to BI4.0 SP2.
  • The issue impacts only some WebIntelligence (webi) reports while several other reports do not exhibit the same behavior.
  • Creating a new schedule or viewing historical instances fail with HTTP 500 error as shown below.
