1714261 - How Data Services handles blank or initial dates extracted from SAP Application via Extractors

Symptom

  • Dates that in SAP Application show as blank ( '        ') or as SAP App initial dates ('00000000') are not preserved as such when read by Data Services.
  • If any record in SAP ODQMON is showing blank value then the corresponding record in DataServices is showing a default value of 01/01/1900 or 12/31/9999.
  • Interpret SAP NULL as NULL = 'TRUE' setting in Data Services is ignored by Data Services support for Extractors
