Symptom

You run a CREATE PROCEDURE statement in SAP HANA Studio for code that is syntactically correct and still receive an error message like:

Could not execute 'CREATE PROCEDURE avg_shop_sales ( IN shop_id INTEGER , OUT avg_shop_sales avg_shop_sales_type) ...' in 532 ms 786 µs Started: 2012-05-03 02:57:31. 
SAP DBTech JDBC: [257] (at 152): sql syntax error: line 5 col 9 (at pos 152)
