Symptom
- As described in SAP Note 965032, new period control "T090NP-PERBIF" has been provided for investment support posting since release 600.
However, when creating a new transaction type which uses transaction group 53 to link the transaction type and period control "T090NP-PERBIF" refer to SAP Note 1138166, can't find out a standard way to create an investment support transaction type which is assigned to transaction type group 53. - When creating a new investment measure via T-code ANVEST, two transaction types are generated automatically.
One transaction type is for current year acquisition and the other is for previous year acquisition.
These transaction types are assigned to transaction type group 51 and 52 by default but not to transaction type group 53. - When using T-code AO83 or going through following IMG customizing to change the transaction type group to 53 for an existing transaction type, the field "Transaction type group" (BWAGRP) is grayed out and unchangeable:
Asset Accounting -> Special Valuation -> Investment Support -> Check Transaction Types for Investment Support Measures -> Check Transaction Types for Investment Support Measures.
