1714669 - Error While Migrating Material Using Migration Tool

You are attempting  to migrate the Material using Migration Tool, In Step 2 of migration, error occurs for Edit Value Conversion for Material Type Code for India.

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation Projects view.
3. Select Open Activity List button.
4. Select Integrate and Extend chevron.
5. Search and open Migration of Materials activity.
6. Select Migrate Materials Using the Migration Tool link.
7. In step 2 (Convert Values), Error for the task Edit Value Conversion for Material Type for India.
8. Select Edit Value Conversion for Material Type for India link.
9. A new screen opens where the status is red and Material Type Code for India field is empty.
10. And the Description showing is No additional information available.

Material Type Code For India is a globalization field applicable only for India. If the system is scoped other than India, then this should not be Active.

To resolve issue, download the file again and remove the active status for the field Tax Account Code for India in the excel. After this, you can able to complete the Migration Materials without any issues.

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation projects view.
3. Select Open Activity List button.
4. Select Integrate and Extend chevron.
5. Search and open Migration of Materials activity.
6. Select Migrate Materials Using the Migration Tool' link.
7. Select the XML file and select Actions button and choose Download.
8. In the excel, go to the sheet General.
9. Remove the status Active from the field Tax Account Code for India.
10. Save the Excel.
11. Now you can able to migrate the material.
