1717909 - How to redirect the logs from SAP BusinessObjects written to the system logging facility on Unix

Symptom

In /var/log/messages or /var/log/syslog you see entries for your SAP BusinessObjects processes.


Example:

May 10 07:03:02 suse10 boe_xccached[9152]: Successfully registered with name com.seagatesoftware.img.osca.dpscacheXL.Query."suse10"-SIASUSE.DashboardDesignCacheServer with name server
May 10 07:03:02 suse10 boe_crcached[9169]: Successfully registered with name com.seagatesoftware.img.osca.cacheserver."suse10"-SIASUSE.CrystalReportsCacheServer with name server
May 10 07:03:02 suse10 businessobjects[9156]: AAAnalytics started
