Symptom
For many relational database systems (RDBMS), SAP recommends to reorganize the database or parts of the database and update database statistics after deleting or archiving a large amount of data, in order to avoid bad performance due to fragmentation or obsolete statistics.
As SAP Note 159316 and point 6 of SAP KBA 1660220 state that SAP explicitly recommends not to reorganize database if the system is running on Microsoft SQL Server,further clarification is required regarding the post-steps after archiving, deleting or compression.
