1722146 - Error Message: Status change not possible; corresponding organizational center exists, While Changing the Business Partner Status

When you try to change the status of a Business partner, system throws below error message:

Status change not possible; corresponding organizational center exists

1. Go to Business Partner Data work center.
2. Select Business Partner view.
3. Highlight the Business Partner.
4. Select Change Status button and choose Blocked or Obsolete.

The cause for the issue is that this Business Partner is created automatically based on a Organizational Unit which was activated as a Company which is valid.

If you want to Block or Obsolete this Business Partner, then the respective parameter Company of that Org Unit should be delimited.

After ending the validity of the Company parameter, then you can able to Block the status of the Business Partner.
