Symptom
ErrorMessage: 584 Message: 'Server public key verification failed'
Running win32 clients on a host machine where test clients using the same user ID had previously been connecting to an SUP server of a different version will display the following error messages:
- errorMessage: Error: 584 Message: 'Server public key verification failed'
- MclServerRmiCalls.AddDeviceRegistration failed. Ex: Sybase.MessagingClientLib.MessagingClientException: Error: 584 Message: 'Server public key verification failed' at Sybase.MessagingClientLib.MessagingClient.ThrowOnReturn...
The complete error might look like this:
2012-03-16 15:13:30.846 TRACE: OnRegistrationStatusChanged() was called.
2012-03-16 15:13:30.846 TRACE: registrationStatus: REGISTRATION_ERROR
2012-03-16 15:13:30.846 TRACE: errorCode: 584
2012-03-16 15:13:30.846 TRACE: errorMessage: Error: 584 Message: 'Server public key verification failed'
There may be a <user name>__<appName>_mocaLog.txt file somewhere under the working directory of your client app with a message like this as well:

- Callback handler needs the logic "void IApplicationCallback.OnRegistrationStatusChanged" to display the error message
