1723578 - Error "Different ship-from locations assigned to items in delivery group" Occurs When Creating a Sales Order

When creating a sales order with two items having different Ship-From values, the following error occurs:

"Different ship-from locations assigned to items in delivery group A" ("A" represents the name of the group).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Sales Order work center.
2. Select the Sales Order view.
3. Find Sales Order ABC (ABC represents ID of the sales order).
4. Select View All button and add two line items in Items tab.
5. Select two different Ship-From value for two items.
6. Select the Delivery Rule as: Single Delivery - full quantity.

An error occurs stating Different ship-from locations assigned to items in delivery group A ("A" represents name of the group)

If the Delivery Rule is chosen as Single Delivery - full quantity, the Ship-From address should be consistent or same for all the items.

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Select the Sales Orders view.
3. Find out Sales Order ABC (ABC represents ID of the sales order)
4. Select View All button and add two line items in Items tab.
5. Enter two different Ship-From value for the two items.
6. Select the Delivery Rule as Multiple Deliveries.
