Symptom

  • 'Purchase order number check' (field 'Check purch.order no' - TVAK-PRBST) is active in transaction VOV8 for a given sales document type
  • Two sales orders are created in parallel with this sales document type and same purchase order number is given
  • Error message V4115 (Purchase order number in document number: & already exists) is not issued for unsaved orders
