1726431 - Follow-Up Activity Does not Appear in the Opportunity

Follow-Up activity does not appear in the opportunity.

1. Go to the Account Management work center.
2. Go to the Activities view.
3. Choose Show All Activities and Find ABC (ABC represents the text of the opportunity).
4. Two activities DEF and GIH are displayed in the search result (DEF and GIH represents the activity IDs).
5. Now go to the New Business work center.
6. Go to the Opportunities List view.
7. Choose Show All Opportunities and Find ABC (ABC represents the text of the opportunity).
8. Edit the opportunity and select the Sales Activities tab.
9. Only the completed activity DEF is visible.

Follow up activities created from an opportunity irrespective of status are shown in Sales Activities tab.
But in your case the second activity is created as follow-up of the first activity which will not appear in the Sales Activities tab.
Only the activities created directly from the opportunity will appear here.

Follow the steps below to check the details:

1. Go to the Opportunity List view.
2. Choose Show All Opportunities and Find ABC (ABC represents the text of the opportunity).
3. Edit the opportunity and select the Document Flow tab.
4. Here you can see that the activity GIH is created as follow-up of the activity DEF (GIH and DEF represents the activity IDs).

This is the expected behavior of SAP Business ByDesign.
