SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

1726842 - Error: ”Database access error. Reason Loading shared object failed....: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32]“, is recieved while installing SAP BI 4.0 product on a UNIX environment.

Symptom

While installing BI 4.0 SP02, the following error is received:

”Database access error. Reason Loading shared object failed. First tried to load library clntsh and failed because of error: [clntsh: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory]. Second tried to load library libclntsh.so and failed because of error: [libclntsh.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32]“.
