1728750 - Statement Date and Posting Date of a New Bank Statement Do Not Get Updated

You create a new bank statement, for example, on Monday, the Statement Date and the Posting Date are not changed according to the current date, but always set to last Friday.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. On Monday, go to the Liquidity Management work center, and choose the Bank Statements view.
  2. Choose New Bank Statement.
  3. In the Enter General Data step, select Company and Bank Account ID.
  4. The system automatically proposes the Statement ID, Validity Year, Statement Date, Posting Date and the Opening Balance.

You notice that the Statement Date and Posting Date proposed are not today, but last Friday.

The logic in bank statement is to propose the Statement date and Posting date with the last working date. In this case, the bank statement proposes last Friday which is the last working date as of this Monday, so the system works as designed.
