1730823 - “Chart Option” window not populating in the Crystal Reports Designer

Symptom

"Chart Option" window not populating when right click on the chart and selecting "chart option"

Environment

Crystal Reports 2008

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a Report with chart
  2. Right click on Chart and select Chart option

Cause

Might be Problem with chartui.dll file

Resolution

  1. Try to repair the Crystal Reports software from control panel, so that the chartui.dll will reinstall in the correct path

　

Note: Before going to perform above resolution please Verify if the Chart Options dll "chartui.dll" is available in the below path

C:\Program Files (x86)\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86

Check the version of .dll by right click on .dll -> properties -> version tab (version should be match with crystal reports designer version)
