Symptom

  • Crystal Report doesn't export to any format when clicked on Export button of viewer of custom .NET application.
  • JavaScript error appears at the left bottom corner of the webpage.
  • Error: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException: The message received from the server could be not be parsed. Common causes for this error are when the response is modified by calls to Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules, or server trace is enabled. Details: Error parsing near '% PDF-1.7 %?? 1 0 ob'.
