1732132 - Unable to login to Enterprise or view Webi Reports in Microsoft SharePoint with IOMS installed and claims based authentication enabled

Symptom

After installing IOMS (Integration Option for Microsoft SharePoint) on a Microsoft Sharepoint server and enabling claims based authentication, you get intermittent login exceptions and are unable to view web intelligence reports.

You may also encounter the following symptoms:

  • The error message: "Account Information Not Recognized: An error has occurred propagating the security context between the security server and the client. Please contact your system administrator."
  • Error messages like this in the log files:

  • A fiddler log may also show 401 errors on ServerGateway.svc
  • When trying to view a webi report, the logo will flash on screen, but nothing will happen
