How to create new Catalog

SAP Business ByDesign

1) Create new supplier catalog
- Go to the work center Product Portfolio.
- Go to the view Catalogs.
- Choose the button New -> Supplier Catalog.
- Enter the fields 'Catalog ID', 'Catalog Name', 'Supplier'.
- Choose Save and then Close.
- Select the query 'Show: Catalogs to Be Published'. You can see your new catalog.

2) Create the CSV Catalog file for the import.
- Go to the work center Product Portfolio.
- Go to the view Catalogs.
- Choose the button Open Catalog File Template to open MS Excel.
- Choose 'Enable Editing' and 'Enable Content' in case you are prompted for it.
- In Excel, go to the tab SAP Business ByDesign.
- Choose Logon.
- Enter User Name and Password (same as the ones used to login to ByD frontend).
