Symptom

  • Universe Designer hangs for a long time to display Database Middleware Selection dialog when trying to add a new connection from client machine.
  • Other Observations: When service "Adapative Processing Server" is disabled, the Database Middleware Selection wizard dialog shows up in about 3 minutes. As soon as this service is re-enabled, then the issue happens again (wizard will show up only after at least 16 to 18 minutes).
