1739262 - CPA Cache-Refresh: Unexpected end of file from server

Symptom

CPA Cache refresh does not end.

In http://<host>:<port>/CPACache, the following error can be seen:

CPA Cache not updated with directory data. Reason: com.sap.aii.af.service.cpa.impl.exception.CPADirectoryCacheException:
Could not open Directory URL (http://xxxxx:xxxxx/dir/hmi_cache_refresh_service/ext?method=CacheRefresh&mode=F&consumer=af.xxx.xxxxxxxxx).
Reason: java.net.SocketException: Unexpected end of file from server
