1739305 - Error: "Failed to update cache for execution. Program will exit" during Data Services upgrade

Symptom

  • During Data Services upgrade, receive a pop-up Failed to update cache for execution. Program will exit.
  • The setupengine.log contains the following error:
    • Error: Could not copy source folder to temp folder.
    • Error: Source folder: <Install_Dir>/temp/BODS/DS42SP13/dunit/im.dataservices.sdk.transform_sdk-4.0-core-64/
    • Error: Temp dest folder: <Install_Dir>/InstallData/tmp/im.dataservices.sdk.transform_sdk-4.0-core-64
    • Error: Class name: N4Poco25FileAccessDeniedExceptionE
    • Error: Display text: Access to file denied: insufficient permissions: <Install_Dir>/temp/BODS/DS42SP13/dunit/im.dataservices.sdk.transform_sdk-4.0-core-64/assemblycontent.zip
