Symptom

  • WebI reports metadata are not updated following BEx queries changes in WebI Rich Client (WRC) Feature Pack 3 / Service Pack 04
  • When closing WebI Rich Client the application still runs in the background. The WRC application is not terminated but is minimized to the windows system tray and the WRC process executable is shown in the Taskbar.
  • This could cause high memory consumption.
  • How to stop/disable Webi Rich Client Quick Launch.
