1750106 - How to Create New Form Template

Symptom

When you try to preview Purchasing Contract, error occurs:  Form template Purchasing Contract variant for language English and country XXX cannot be found.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Sourcing and Contracting work Center
  2. Go to Contacts view.
  3. Open a contact and Select Preview button.

Cause

The form template for specific language and specific country is not created.

Resolution

  1. Go to Application and User Management work center
  2. Go to Business Flexibility view
  3. Go to Form Template Maintenance sub view.
  4. Select any existing form template Purchasing Contract
  5. Select Copy and choose As New Variant 
  6. Select country and language
  7. Select Ok
  8. Select Publish

PS. This method can also be used to create other kind of form template for any language and any country which is supported by ByDesign system.
