Product Allocation check is used in SAP APO system.
When triggering gATP check for sales orders then the 'Material Availability Date' (field: MBDAT) is used in the APO product allocation, even a different check date e.g. Delivery Date (LFDAT) or 'Goods Issue Date' (WADAT) was customized in the APO customizing for the 'Product Allocation Group'.
