1753468 - "Configuration of destination" Error in SSO Enabled BICS Connection

Symptom

  • The Security Token Service (STS) is configured but a BICS connection cannot be created using the SSO Authentication Mode
  • Errors:
    • Configuration of destination *******-****-****-*********** is incomplete: Parameter user id is missing: neither user nor user alias not sso ticket nor certificate is specified
    • Configuration of destination ********-****-****-****-************** is incomplete: Parameter containing a user ID is missing: neither user nor user alias nor external ID nor SSO ticket nor X.509 certificate is specified.
    • From APS log: Parameter containing a user ID is missing: neither user nor user alias nor external ID nor SSO ticket nor X.509 certificate is specified
