1753582 - You Receive an Error Message that a City Name Should Be Maintained for Your Sales Order

Symptom

You receive an error message that a city name should be maintained for your Sales Order : City in address of Account missing.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales Order work center.
  2. Go to the Sales Order view.
  3. Edit Sales Order XYZ (XYZ represents the identification of a sales order).
  4. Save and Release the sales order

You receive the following error message : City in address of Account missing

Cause

This is the normal system behaviour.

 

Resolution

A complete address should be maintained for the Bill-to address, Ship-to address and Account Address.
A complete address means the following :

The Country should be maintained, The City should be maintained and at least one of the following field should be maintained :

  • Street
  • Postal Code
  • P.O. Box
  • P.O. Box City
  • Company Postal Code
