Symptom
- When accessing the Promotion Management application in the Central Management Console (CMC), an HTTP 500 error is displayed.
- Accessing Promotion Management in CMC as Administrator gives the following error while Administrators have Full Access to the application: Sorry, Promotion management application is unable to process your request.: Please check you have sufficient rights to perform this operations.
- In the CMC webapp log or system logs, the following permissions errors are reported:
Could not open the file /data/boe/BI4/sap_bobj/data/frsinput/a_216/014/000/3800/lcm.admin.config-guid[3f227297-0769-4bc5-990d-12b7aebb5049b9e].properties. Error code: Failed to open file /data/boe/BI4/sap_bobj/data/frsinput/a_216/014/000/3800/lcm.admin.config-guid[3f227297-0769-4bc5-990d-12b7aebb5049b9e].properties. Please check for permissions or sharing violations. - Note: the CMC webapp log files are located in:
- on Windows: C:\SBOPWebapp_CMC_xx.xx.xx.xx_xxxx
- on Unix: the home folder of the user which the application server runs under
- Input File Repository Server (FRS) location was recently moved.
