1755333 - Explorer InfoSpace fails to Index with error "The information space has no data"

Symptom

  • After upgrading BI 4.0 system to SP04 (or higher Patch) Error "Server, <server_name>.ExplorerIndexingServer, generated the following messages: Index Creation Failed: The information space has no data." when indexing a new or an existing Information Space based on Java Connector using Data Federator to SAP Business Warehouse (BW).
  • Testing the universe with WebI reports or running query from universe Query Panel in IDT works fine.
  • Previous version of BI is working fine.
