1757306 - Customer Return Show Error 'Mandatory List Price is Missing'

Customer return displays error "Mandatory List Price missing for the price calculation". Due to this error you are unable to post the document in financials.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Go to the Returns view.
3. Show All Returns and Find ABC (ABC represents the ID of the customer return).
4. Edit the return.
5. Error occurs: Mandatory List Price missing for the price calculation.

The reference sales order had been migrated into the system, from which this return was created. However there was no valid price list maintained in the SAP ByDesign.

Hence whilst creating the return the Business ByDesign system has not recognized any price and created the return with a zero Net Value.

1. First cancel the return (you can find more details on cancelation process in the case document 1589551 - How to Cancel a Customer Return).
2. Then maintain a valid list price:
   • Go to the Product and Service Portfolio work center.
   • Go the the Pricing view.
   • Maintain a valid price list.
3. Now recreate the customer return for the reference sales order.
