You are not able to release the Customer Demand due to the error message: Release order not possible,Sale order ABC (ABC represents the Sales OrderID) Item XYZ (XYZ represents the Sales Order Line Item ID) Blocked.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Outbound Logistics Control work center.
2. Go to the Customer Demand view.
3. Find the Customer Demand ABC (ABC represents the ID of the Sales Order for which the Customer Demand has been created).
4. Select the Release button.
5. The system triggers the error: Release of order not possible,Sales Order ABC item XYZ blocked.

You have maintained in the Sales Order the Payment method as Credit card, but the credit card information is not maintained for the account for which the Sales Order has been created.
Hence the Authorization of the credit card maintained in the Sales Order cannot be triggered, which results in the Delivery Block of the Item.

1. Go to the Account Management work center.
2. Go to the Accounts view.
3. Find the Account DEF (DEF represents the Account ID).
4. Select the Edit button and select General button.
5. Go to the Financial Data tab and select the Payment Data subtab.
6. In Payment Methods heading, select the Add Row button and choose payment method as Credit Card.
7. Go to the Bank Data subtab.
8. Select the Assign button under Credit Cards heading and maintain the credit card information.
9. Save the Account.
