1762003 - "Error in File xxx : Encapsulating page failed" when viewing Crystal Report based on BW in InfoView

Symptom

  • Crystal Report is based on Business Warehouse (BW) data source
  • Some users can view the report fine in InfoView while others cannot and get "Error in File xxx : Encapsulating page failed"
  • Will see the following in RFC trace:

T:4192 Error in program 'yyy': ======> User zzz has no RFC authorization for function group /CRYSTAL/MDX
