1763518 - Error after upgrading a Match job from 3.2 to 4.x. Cannot remove the field and section it is erroring on from the Match transform - Data Services 4.x

Symptom

  • Match job won't validate after upgrade.
  • Match job ran just fine and validated in the old version.
  • Cannot delete the field the Match transform is complaining about.
  • Match transform has/had a blank input field that now cannot be deleted after upgrade.
  • "EIM Transform Source:match_transform_name] ([[USERDEFINED_INPUT_FIELDS/FIELD/DATA_TYPE]]) The option cannot be blank. (BODI-1116087)"
  • "[EIM Transform Source:dq_DMO_CUST_BATCH_MATCH] ([Prioritization/Prioritize Fields/Field/Mapped Name]) <MCD0129>: The field "[fieldname]" referenced in group "[Prioritization/Prioritize Fields/Field/Mapped Name]" of name "[fieldname]" is unavailable (BODI-1116087)"
