• Promoting crystal report ( CR ) with Business view manager ( BVM ) dependencies ending in Partial Success when using LCM on BI4 Platform
• The crystal report uses business views with dynamic cascading prompts and command objects
• Prerequisites for promoting business views ( BV ) such as promoting with User Security and including Application Rights were met
• Noted failures are with the BVM dependencies like some Metadata Business Filters, Metadata command tables and Metadata database fields
• These failure on the promotion job status can be seen as following message :
• Resolution Status=Copied, Dependency Status=All the required dependencies are included., Commit Status=Commit attempted and failed., Promotion Status=Failure : Object number XXXX cannot be created under the given folder (number YYYY) because it must be under folder number 98 either directly or indirectly. The server supplied the following details: Must create object under it's defined root folder.
