1766150 - Error: Server not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) while accessing Data Foundation in IDT in BI4.0

Symptom

  • Error: Server not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) while accessing Data Foundation in Information Design Tool (IDT).
  • After retrieving the UNX file, while checking the Connection in Data Foundation (.DFX file), it prompts for login credentials.
  • In Login window System name is already filed and it is missing the ‘@’ to indicate the cluster name. This field is disabled so it can not change it.
  • In WebI, it can show up as a Data Federator error
    "Connector definition is invalid for connector"
    "Bad xml: org.xml.sax.SAXException: :2: 1: Content is not allowed in prolog.. (IES 10901)"
