1766358 - sapcontrol returns "Unknown webmethod: [webmethod name]"

Symptom

The "sapcontrol" command returns the error "Unknown webmethod: [webmethod name]", either during a SUM upgrade or when executed manually.

Examples:

1) When you start the instance with startsap(all) command, the startup procedure fails with error:

     Starting Startup Agent sapstartsrv
     Unknown webmethod: WaitforServiceStarted
     Startup of Instance Service failed

2) During the "Detect Certified High Availability setup" step in SUM ("XX" stands for the SAP instance number):

     > sapcontrol -nr XX -function HAGetFailoverConfig
     Unknown webmethod: HAGetFailoverConfig
