Symptom
Cannot import SAP role and get "Error 500: javax.servlet.ServletException:javax.servlet.ServletException:com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException"
Environment
- Business intelligence platform 4 SP4
- Websphere 6.1.0.43
Reproducing the Issue
- Logon Central Management Console.
- Click Authentication->SAP.
- Insert information in Entitlement Systems.
- Click Role Import tab.
Get "Error 500: javax.servlet.ServletException:javax.servlet.ServletException:com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException".
Resolution
- Modify config.websphere6 and add:
JCoStandalone=true - Predeploy boe.war application with
Unix: ./wdeploy.sh websphere6 -DAPP=BOE predeploy
Windows: wdeploy.bat websphere6 -DAPP=BOE predeploy - Use the Websphere admin console to undeploy and delete the BOE web application in Websphere. Not do an update to redeploy the new BOE webapp.
- Use the websphere admin console and redeploy the new BOE.ear predeployed.
- Restart Websphere.
