1770583 - AS Java startup due to error "Unrecognized option"

Symptom

  • After that, the J2EE can't be started and the following error is recorded in the dev_server log:  Unrecognized option: -XX:PermSize=m;  Unrecognized option: -XX:MaxNewSize=m;  Unrecognized option: -XX:MaxPermSize=m;  Unrecognized option: -XX:NewSize=m
  • On using SAP Netweaver Java 7.3X.
  • In the Config Tool removed/deleted the custom value in JVM parameters setting (for example, PermSize).
