1771029 - CrystalReports 2011 servers fail to boot

Symptom

The Crystal Reports 2011 Report Application Server (RAS) does not start.  This problem also displays the following behavior:

  • when trying to start the RAS server from the Central Management Console (CMC), the status goes immediately into failed. 
  • when enabling logging on the RAS server, the logs are not generated.
