1771772 - Search Help not initialized during recording

Symptom

You are recording with Producer or Instant Producer and when you click on the Search Help button (F4) in any screen of a SAP application (using one of the SAP GUI recognition profiles), you notice that an error message appears in the status bar:

The search help for  could not be initialized (CNTL error)

You may also face a short dump like this one when trying to visualize the Search Help:
