1778780 - RFC server won't start after upgrade - Data Quality Management for SAP 4.x

Symptom

  • Upgrading from an older version of the product.
  • Error in the RFC log file says Null when attempting to start.
  • Error when starting the RFC server in a command prompt:  "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
    at com.firstlogic.links.sap.SapMain.getSystemStatusText (SAPMain.java:1124)
    at com.firstlogic.links.sap.SapMain.(init)(SapMain.java:343)
    at com.firstlogic.links.sap.SapMain.main(SapMain.java:2727)
    Exception in thread "Thread-0" java.lang.NullPointerException
    at com.firstlogic.links.sap.SapMain.getSystemStatusText(SAPMain.java:1124)
    at com.firstlogic.links.sap.SapShutDownHandler.handleShutdownRequest(SapShutDownHandler.java:52)
    at com.firstlogic.links.common.utilities.FlShutDown.run(FlShutDown.java:171)
