1779745 - PCM: Cells based on rules don't show the correct values

Symptom

  • A cell in a grid is calculated by a simple rule but shows the wrong value
  • There are multiple Critical Alerts in the Model Alerts screen with messages such as "Failed to optimize rule '{name of rule}'" and "Cannot use parentheses when calling a Sub()"
  • The PCM Automatic Calculation button is ON
  • There is a message in the PCM Model Alerts screen saying "Automatic calculation has been disabled."
  • The PCM Rule Engine is set to use "Compiled" or "Compiled with VBScript" setting in Model Calculation Options.
