Symptom
Client is running BPC NW 7.5 in their organization, and have begun the process to upgrade to EPM 10.
During the first upgrade/migration, they noticed that a couple of their pre-existing dimension names don't match the new default dimension names in an appset/environment.
Specifically, it looked like:
DATASRC has been changed to AUDIT ID & GROUP has been changed to SCOPE.
Their questions are:
- Do we need to go through the effort to change our dimension names to match the new standard?
- If not, what are the long-term support consequences if we stay with the old dimension names (DATASRC and GROUP)?
