SAP Knowledge Base Article - PublicSymptom
After authenticating with SAP Authentication to BI4.0 in Analysis for office, it still prompts for Username and Password again after opening an report from the repository. Additionally the SSO connection to SAP BW might be prompting again as well.

- Analysis for Office 1.2.9.1776 - Patch 09
Cause
The BoeConnection setting allows you to define a system connection to the business intelligence platform. It is maintained by an XML file which is stored in the file system under %APPDATA%\SAP AG\SAP BusinessObjects Advanced Analysis\Settings\BOESettings\BOESystems.xml.
Resolution
The BOESystems.xml has been modified or is corrupted. In one instance it was found that <BoeVersion>3.1</BoeVersion> was added to the XML file, which caused the issue. Removing the tag resolved the password prompting issue.
